Hudson Yards Plaza, New York City - Dimensional lighting of public space

The project

Hudson Yards is the largest private real estate development in the history of the United States. Right at the bottom of these brand new skyscrapers, Technilum’s Structure K lighting poles puntate the public space, just in front of one of the most instagrammable spot in NYC: The Vessel, by architect Thomas Heatherwick. Frenchfab is in the place!
This project has been achieved thanks to the help of our local partner in New York City : SDA Lighting.

Multipode / Catenary is a system designed to accommodate catenary cables & catenary mounted fixtures. Each extremity is made of 1 or 2 poles mechanically connected to which 316L stainless steel wires are mounted to support catenary fixtures or festoon lighting. Structure K is a range of poles exclusivelly designed to support any kind of light fixture or any accessories (signage, bins, camera…). The positionning of these elements can be adjusted precisely and easily in height thanks to the technical grooves integrated to the pole. Structure K poles are made of extruded aluminum (City Module Concept), entirely weld-free, combining aesthetics and resistance.Download data sheet
