Job summary

We currently have an outstanding opportunity for an additional Regional Sales Manager (RSM), to complete our Northern America sales organization. The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is a highly motivated, solutions and sales oriented manager as well as an organizational leader who drives high potential sales market area. Technilum’s product and service portfolio is specially designed to provide solutions for urban lighting & smart services. The RSM will be directly responsible for managing agents network and build long term commercial partnerships with relevant market stakeholders (specifiers, cities, contractors, etc.) within a specific geographic territory. This position supports the necessary business and product metrics required to meet Technilum goals and profitable sales objectives.


. Increases market shares through incremental profitable sales within existing accounts and agents network.
. Ability to prospect and search potential clients and secure new accounts.
. Setup annual commercial action plan including Marketing and sales budgets with agents.
. Supports technically customers/prospects on products and their applications, delivers right information and converts opportunities into sales.
. Presents and launch new products & services. Trains and supports agents’ sales force.
. Demonstrates outstanding customer service ability to ensure customer satisfaction and builds long term commercial relationships.
. Assess risks and makes recommendations based on a thorough analysis of faced parameters involved in the business situation
Attends sales meetings and reports sales activities to the Direction on a regular basis.
. Reports on internal CRM software (SFDC) all opportunities and sales activities on regular basis. Responsible for data accuracy in SFDC and the effective use of all required sales management tools.
. Communicates and cooperates in a productive and professional manners with Technilum organization members.
. Works closely with Customer Service Representatives team.
. Fast learner, quickly gains knowledge of the company’s business model, products, services, practices and client environments.
. Attends trade shows, and anticipates in education and training conferences on selling and marketing programs.
. Stays well informed about current lighting industry & Urban trends through constant readings, research, and as a result contributes to the development of the commercial strategy.
. Participates in company forecasting processes
. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

. Ability to interact with different kinds of customers like architects, urban planners, lighting designers, landscape designer, contractors, …

. High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Professional Selling, Marketing or Business a plus.
. 3 to 5 years previous selling experience in industry specific categories preferred.
. Required to work independently with minimal supervision.
. Requires outstanding customer service skills and the ability to work in a team setting with a diverse groups of employees, managers and external contacts.
. Outstanding analytical, organization and oral/written communication skills.
. Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Power Point, Word, Excel and Outlook.
