Greenway, La Ciotat. Functional and road lighting using Structure K lighting columns with technical grooves to easily add accessories.

The project

A former railway line, La Ciotat’s “greenway” now allows to cross the town along a completely planted path.

A variety of Structure K lighting columns with technical grooves to easily add accessories, some of them being equipped with CCTV systems, punctuate the path, allowing visitors to stroll through the Mediterranean flora and discover the urban heritage, whether on foot or using soft mobility.

Structure K is a range of poles exclusivelly designed to support any kind of light fixture or any accessories (signage, bins, camera…). The positionning of these elements can be adjusted precisely and easily in height thanks to the technical grooves integrated to the pole. CCTV allows to strengthen user’s peace of mind and sense of security in the public realm. Discrete and perfectly integrated to Technilum’s poles, the video-camera camera can cover 180°. Preventing vandalism often just by its mere presence, this CCTV system also detects vibrations (vandalism or accident), making it possible the intervention of dedicated personnel. The CCTV camera can also be associated with an occupancy sensor, linked with lighting level monitoring.
