The project
Evron is a small-scale town in the western part of France (Pays-de-Loire). In the 2010’s, an important restoration project was undertaken, with the aim to improve the living environment of its 7000 inhabitants and to dynamize its rich historic city center, from a commercial and touristic point of view. The project was achieved by Julien Schnell, from Urbanica (Urbanism & architecture agency), who also co-designed with Technilum the Imawa range of lighting furniture. A special attention was paid to obtain a subtle mix between the modern touch of the urban furniture and the historical surroundings.
