Jardin Boileau, Chambly

The project

“Jardin Boileau, between past and present” is an experiential garden paying tribute to the Boileau family’s heritage home, demolished in 2018, which played an important role in the history of the city of Chambly, in QUebec.

Awarded by the “Prix Les Arts et la Ville – Aménagement 2023”, this redeveloped space features rustic formal gardens, a small orchard, a relaxation area, a small square, an old-fashioned gallery, a sundial and interpretation modules retracing the history of the site and the Boileau family. This participatory project highlights the history of the city of Chambly, while providing a space for citizens to meet and relax.

Our Creille GM aluminum columns and gantries now punctuate this garden with personality. The delicately vegetal pattern of the cut-outs is directly inspired by one of Monsieur Boileau’s gardening notebooks.
