The project
La Grande Motte City-Port Project aims to be a demonstration of the resilient and sustainable city, respectful of the original Balladure architect’s gesture but marked by necessary modernization.
Imagined by Leclercq Associés architects, designed and manufactured by Technilum, beautiful multi-functional lighting furniture now punctuates the Quais Tabarly and Pompidou. Offering lighting & seating, decorated with cutouts recalling the moldings so characteristic of La Grande Motte, “Le Clair de Nuit” fits perfectly into its environment.
This furniture pools services, offering several uses for a functional and refined public space. Just like Technilum’s “Les Fées”, which have lit the square in front of La Grande Motte Town Hall for more than 50 years, this furniture is made of aluminum, a noble material, particularly resistant to corrosion, even by the sea, for a unrivaled longevity.
