The project

The restructuring of Christophe Colomb square was designed to revitalize the city center and create an intergenerational place for residents, respecting the identity of the site, open, flexible and welcoming.

The square has been transformed to host events, a market, a refreshing fountain, green spaces, playgrounds… and even electric charging stations.

Our Creille GM lighting columns, with their timeless openwork pattern, and our Manseng PM lampposts, both equipped with Paul floodlights and, occasionally, gobos, share services.
LED lighting, Wifi, CCTV and sound systems are all combined in a single unit to meet a wide range of event and security requirements, with a sleek design.
Bronze anodized finish and access doors marked with the city logo offer an elegant signature for these custom-made, long-lasting lighting columns.

Sober and elegant, our square Paul floodlights, compatible with our entire range of our poles, lampposts and lighting columns, are available to accompany all your architectural lighting projects. Available in 3 different sizes et offering a wide color pannel (white, dynamic white and RGBW.). Available accessories: Snoot, anti-glare grid, honey comb. CCTV Show accessory page

CCTV allows to strengthen user’s peace of mind and sense of security in the public realm. Discrete and perfectly integrated to Technilum’s poles, the video-camera camera can cover 180°. Preventing vandalism often just by its mere presence, this CCTV system also detects vibrations (vandalism or accident), making it possible the intervention of dedicated personnel. The CCTV camera can also be associated with an occupancy sensor, linked with lighting level monitoring.

This Hifi sound system, perfectly integrated into Technilum’s poles, allows audio broadcast (music, information, advertising, alerts), scheduled or modulated in real time. Speakers are weather-proof. The system can be integrated through a stand-alone PA system or a centralized amplifier (possible IP addressing). It can be compatible with city’s existant network.

Technilum offer to integrate Wifi system inside its lighting poles, allowing Internet access to everyone in the public realm. Mech WiFi technology also allows to connect all the Smart Objects integrated in the city center, through one single integrated infrastructure.
